Your contribution to National Safe Place will help make a difference in the lives of youth. It’s crucial that young people have a place to go and have the opportunity to speak with someone who can help.
Here’s what McKenzie, 16, says about her Safe Place experience:
“I was having problems at home and didn’t know how to deal with them, so I left. I remember learning about Safe Place in school, so when I saw the sign on the fire station near my house I knew they could help. I don’t know where I would be without Safe Place.”
Every day, more than 3,500 kids will leave home due to a variety of reasons, including abuse, neglect, family conflict, homelessness, and more. Your contribution will help National Safe Place educate more youth and communities about Safe Place, connect more youth to immediate help and safety and support the TXT 4 HELP initiative.
