You’re never too far from the help you need.
If you have questions about some of life’s tougher topics, we’re here to help. Click on the topics to the left to read an honest, straightforward discussion about the things they won’t talk about at school. If you can’t find the answers you need here, find the Safe Place near you and talk to us. Or, talk to someone else — don’t forget about the people in your life who want you to open up to them:
- Friends or relatives
- Teachers or guidance counselors
- A minister, rabbi or priest
- Your parents
- A local youth shelter
- A community crisis hotline
If you are in a city without a Safe Place Program, you can receive help by contacting the National Runaway Switchboard (NRS). This is a national toll-free hotline for runaway, homeless and other youth in crisis. You can call NRS anytime at 1-800-RUNAWAY.
