If you can’t find the answers you need here, find the Safe Place near you and talk to us. Or, talk to someone else — don’t forget about the people in your life who want you to open up to them:

• Friends or relatives
• Teachers or guidance counselors
• A minister, rabbi or priest
• Your parents
• A local youth shelter
• A community crisis hotline

If you are in a city without a Safe Place Program, you can receive help by contacting the National Runaway Switchboard (NRS). This is a national toll-free hotline for runaway, homeless and other youth in crisis. You can call NRS anytime at 1-800-RUNAWAY.
