National Safe Place can now bring relevant training opportunities right into your office via iLinc, a web-based meeting and training system. Through this innovative online system, National Safe Place will partner with experts to provide pertinent, practical knowledge and skills-building opportunities that will help build the capacity of youth-serving agencies for more effective and efficient service delivery. Whether for one or all of your agency's personnel, this can be a valuable resource. All trainings are free of charge.

Utilizing Social Media to Enhance Your Safe Place Program

This webinar will provide an overview of popular social media vehicles used by many non-profits. We will cover how to best utilize these sites to enhance your Safe Place program. We will take an in-depth look at using a Facebook Fan Page, using and understanding your Twitter account, and other social media tools that can boost your program.   

At the end of the session you will learn: how to increase traffic to your social media sites, best times to post items on Facebook, Twitter, etc., how to use your Fan Page wisely, calculating the value of social media to your non-profit, and links to social media resources for your pages.
